Marcia Thompson
Marcia K. Thompson, Esq., is the Founder and President of Creer Un Espace, LLC, an organization dedicated to creating space for growth, equity, and leadership. Marcia brings a wealth of expertise to the podcast, with a background that includes serving as a Univeristy Department Chair, an Attorney, Ombudsman for the U.S. Capitol, a Chief Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Officer, and a Lead Faculty member at Loyola University Chicago School of Law. Her extensive experience in corporate leadership, and training—has made her a seasoned national speaker on topics like leadership, executive transitions, coaching, reform, technology for good, ethics, stakeholder engagement, public safety, trauma, communication, organizational justice, and civil rights. At the core of her work is the “Four P’s” approach: Policies, Processes, People, and Proof/Data, which she utilizes to foster inclusive environments and sustainable organizational change.
